Hardware for Virtual Reality Paratroop Training Devices

Eight sets of hardware are used for Paratroop training at Brize Norton. The hardware required includes VR headsets, hand trackers, waist bags and the main operator’s console. The headsets, bags and trackers are made using Vacuum castings – this route was chosen as a low volume moulding process, ideal for this type of project. Maelstrom were responsible for the product management, software and graphics.
